Automated collection services include the use of specialized bins large enough to accommodate household waste for the average household with an option to add on additional bins if needed.

Curbside Recycling Collection

Curbside recycling is the easiest and most convenient way for your household to go green and reduce waste by recycling common items like cans, plastic bottles, carboard and more.

The stickers are for Fauquier County residents that wish to utilize the residential collection sites or the Corral Farm Facility to personally dispose of their household recycling and trash.  Residents must have one of the following to use facilities:

Residential Collection Site Permit Sticker
Valid Fauquier County Identification
Valid Special Exception Permit with Identification   

A maximum of three (3) Permanent Residential Permits will be issued per household.

A department representative must validate application with personal-use vehicle registration and valid identification.  Permanent residential permit stickers will not be issued to Farm Use vehicles, business vehicles, vehicles with any business markings, or out of county vehicles.

The roll out of permit stickers will be completed in stages.  After the roll out is complete, the only location to obtain the permits will be the department office during regular business hours.

How do I get a collection site permit?

Residential Collection Site Permits may be obtained during regular business hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday (except holidays) at:
